  1. Desktop app · Windows

    Version 0.10.0

    New

    • I know the area: Enter your land in ha, acres, m² or sq ft and pick a shape: E-Farmer suggests the sides and shows the plot. Try other dimensions, or enter the real measurements if you have them.
    • Make a farm mixed: A livestock or crop farm can become a mixed farm with animals and crops. Everything you recorded stays.

  2. Desktop app · Windows

    Version 0.9.0

    New

    • Choose a part of your plot: Draw one or two cut lines on the plot’s shape and click the part you use. Parts already taken by a crop or a pen show as taken.
    • Local selling units: Record a harvest or a sale in the units of your market: bags, mudu, debe, quintal, crates, basins or heaps, with a kg size you can change.
    • Start your farm in minutes: Sign-up asks what you farm, then E-Farmer builds your farm. A farm with nothing yet shows the first steps.
    • Your own feeds: Make your own feed from the formulas page, and find it under My feeds.
    • Report and block: Report a post, a comment or a chat, or block a person, in the community and in chats.

    Improved

    • Mixed farms: A mixed farm holds animals and crops. With crops only, it is no longer asked for animals first.
    • Clearer reports for productions and crops, with framed tables and panels.

  3. Desktop app · Windows

    Version 0.8.0

    New

    • Tasks and quests offline: Tasks now work on a farm kept only on this computer, with the daily quests from your farm’s animals and crops. Quests are done from their own screen, so they cannot be changed by mistake.

    Improved

    • Every language: Many more texts in French, Hindi, Urdu and Swahili, and anything not translated yet shows in English.
    • Pens on your plots: A pen set on the phone now counts as used land here too, so a plot shows its real free space.
    • A plot part drawn on the phone keeps its shape, and its area is changed on the phone. A mixed farm keeps its type when you edit it.

    Fixed

    • Signs of birth: Pigs, cattle, buffaloes, goats and sheep now show the real signs that birth is close, not the signs of heat.
    • After changing account, you no longer see the plots or the Sora chat of the previous account.

  4. Desktop app · Windows

    Version 0.7.0

    New

    • Your country’s farm words: The app uses the words farmers say where your farm is: okro and garden egg in Nigeria and Ghana, sukuma wiki and agrovet in Kenya, brinjal and field in India, provende and bayam-sellam in Cameroon, N’drowa and kplala in Côte d’Ivoire, diakhatou and hivernage in Senegal. Your language stays the one you chose.
    • Hand watering: A plot can be watered by watering can or bucket, and gets the watering jobs.

    Improved

    • Many more texts in French, and “vous” everywhere.

  5. Mobile app · iPhone and Android

    Version 1.1.1

    New

    • Five more animals: Sheep (ewes, or rams fattened for Tabaski), dairy buffalo, improved village chickens (kienyeji, Kuroiler, Noiler, Sasso…), guinea fowl and ducks.
    • Nine more crops: Hot pepper, eggplant (brinjal), African eggplant (garden egg), okra, onion, amaranth, jute mallow, kale (sukuma wiki) and cabbage join maize, tomato, cassava and plantain: stages with advice, varieties by region, pest checks (IPM) and fertiliser by stage, in all 8 app languages.
    • The planner for every animal: Village chickens and ducks for meat or eggs, sheep with ewes or Tabaski rams, buffalo in South Asia, guinea fowl in West and Central Africa.
    • Eight staple crops: Rice, potato, sweet potato, yam, cocoyam, taro, common bean and cowpea, with paddy fields for flooded rice: their jobs become keep the water and drain the field, instead of watering.
    • Your country’s farm words: The app speaks like the farmers where your farm is: okro and garden egg in Nigeria and Ghana, sukuma wiki and agrovet in Kenya, brinjal and field in India, provende and bayam-sellam in Cameroon, N’drowa in Côte d’Ivoire, diakhatou in Senegal. Your language stays the one you chose.
    • Local selling units: Record a harvest or a sale in the units of your market: 100 kg bag, mudu, debe, quintal, tomato bucket, crate, basin or heap, with a kg size you can change.
    • Hand watering: A plot can be watered by watering can or bucket, and gets the watering jobs.

    Improved

    • Planner prices: An Estimate badge on prices with no recent market source, and prices that learn from farmers’ own prices once our team has checked them. Carp comes first in South Asia.
    • Editing a plan keeps every answer.
    • Every language: Every screen, the planner included, is now translated in every language of the app.
    • Arrives as an update inside the app for versions 1.1.0 and 1.1.1: restart E-Farmer to get it.
    • Your farms: The farm list shows each farm as a little scene, and a new farm shows what each kind holds: poultry, goats and sheep, cattle, a mixed farm with every animal, or crops first.
    • Many more texts in French, and “vous” everywhere. A crop cycle says why a plot cannot be used in full.
    • These last ones arrive on 28 October as an update inside the app for version 1.1.1 only: restart E-Farmer to get them.
